My thoughts on......

• Politics

I'm really undecided when it comes to that situation. Because It's hard to believe, and it's hard to know whats the truth or whats a lie when they give information. I always think we're being told what we want to hear. "One minute its this, then its that".

• Abortion

I would have to say that I strongly disagree with it and that I'm against it. I believe and support my response by saying that "when it comes to sex we all know the two things that could happen, you two could end up taking care of a baby or catching something! Its no secret".

• Religion

This would be a self made decision you believe in what you want, nobody can stop you from doing that. I don't knock any ones religion especially for the people who don't believe in God. I know I do that's all that matters.

• Teen pregnancy/violence

We're all aware of teen pregnancy, and of course ladies and gentlemen if you don't want to end up in the situation always be prepared. Also teens that want a baby while they're just babies their selves is just an outrage and is just dumb to think about at an early age. Teen violence can and will be stopped or prevented if you tell someone about it. If you are in the situation GET HELP.

• Race in America

I would say that America is the most diverse country in the world. Race here is still a big issue because you have people that are apart of different race and out of a portion of that race some are prejudice or racist. I dislike it but its part of human nature/life and we have to live with it.

Recruitment Fair photos

College Fair (Fort Valley & Albany State)

Last thursday my class and I, all went down to the Trade Center for, pretty much a presentation by Fort Valley and Albany State. When we got there we had to choose a college to see. Left was for Albany, right was for The Valley, we went left and as we were walking to be seated we had students from the school welcoming us and we got bags with information about the school. The room we were in was nicely set up and they had food for us and everything. Before I walked in the room I was thinking that i wouldn't be convinced on giving ASU a thought on going there for college, but i was sadly mistaking and I can say that I was far more convinced than going to Columbus State. Over all I really enjoyed going there and getting the oppportunity to witness the event. Thanks Mrs. Snell

Leader or Servant....

Umm.....my class had a dicussion today about weather we thought that we were leaders or servants. I place myself in the catergory as being a servant first. WHY??? Because i believe it takes being a servant and learning a lot, also experiencing things from other people. Doing this will help you grow and transform your self into being a leader and teaching others what you have learn. So I honestly believe that iam both....Servant first to become a Leader.

Last Thursday, we had two guest speakers(Ms. Nikki & Ms. Mary)that came to talk to me and the class about where they worked which was Greystone Apartments. They showed us an application and how an application should be filled. We also talked about what there policies were, and any other apartment place that would have similiar policies as theres. We also talked about budgets and going to college to afford a nice place to stay and making it in life.(I enjoyed having them)

57 year old woman shot with BB gun

57-year-old woman was shot with a BB gun by a young boy after he tried to rob her, Columbus police said. Around 12:20 a.m. Saturday when the 12- to 14-year-old boy entered through the rear door, reports state. First, he tried to rob her. Then he shot her in the stomach with a BB gun, police said. The suspect is black, 5-foot-6 and was wearing a brown shirt and black pants, reports show.

Kanye West VMA Outburst

During country-pop artist Taylor Swifts speech Kanye West ran up on stage, taking the mic right out of her hand. Interrupting what she had to say and announced that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! The crowd started to boo Kanye for what he did. But he later apologizes to Taylor and spoke with her mom about the situation. I thought it was so uncalled for, but everyone makes mistakes and he did apologize for his actions.
